Associate
Associates provide the firm with a second level of firm leadership.
Qualifications for Associate:
-
Minimum 5+ years experience in an MEP/Management firm

Act in Project Manager capacity
-
Nominated and approved by all Principals
-
Must take an active role in improving the company’s overall performance and profitability beyond normal job scope
Responsibilities for Associate:

Associate Principal
Associates who continue to excel may be invited to become an Associate Principal in the firm. Associate Principals take on additional management and marketing duties.
Qualifications for Associate Principal:

All above qualifications required for Associate in addition to the following:
-
Must have PE certification & continue to maintain professional competence

Must demonstrate an interest and desire to be involved in the overall business such as financial matters (i.e., proposals, billings & collections)
Responsibilities for Associate Principal:
-
Attend monthly Principal’s meeting and act as an officer of the company

Review and approve proposals as needed
-
Active involvement in overall business matters
-
Demonstrate ability to provide strong leadership in adverse situation (servant leadership)

Develop strategic vertical & horizontal relationships within the industry (contractors, vendors, owners, developers, etc.)

Principal
An Associate Principal may be invited to become a Principal by acquiring an ownership interest in the firm.
