Meet Our Summer Interns  - Chris, Chris and Chris

It’s no joke, just a coincidence that all of our interns this summer share the same first name.  On top of the two Chris’ already at DFW Consulting, the additional Chris’ make for a very interesting…and confusing…day at the office.

Returning for his second summer internship is Chris Yarberry, who is studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma.  He has been an enormous help to the staff here by being involved in submittal reviews, RFI responses, HVAC design and review, and cost and performance analysis.  He has “really enjoyed being able to work so close to so many skilled and talented engineers” and has gained invaluable experience by “working directly with the principals”.  After a tough week at the office, he takes off for the lake on the weekends to fly fish and water ski.

Chris Slaughter, a Longhorn and friendly rival of Chris Yarberry, is a future Electrical Engineering graduate.  Working closely with the Technology division, he has assisted with arc flash and coordination studies for several projects.  He benefits from the diverse workload and considers the firm “well-managed with good people”.  His interests are in electronics, robotics and AI research, not to mention running, camping, music and live arts.

A recent high school graduate, Chris Lambert plans to major in Business at Texas Tech in the fall.  This summer intern position is keeping him busy and giving him experience in a professional working environment.  He enjoys playing sports, watching movies and listening to music.  So how does Lambert feel about the firm?  “It’s a great place with a friendly environment.”

We wish all of our interns much success in the fall and in future endeavors!
