Construction Administration

The Construction Administration services vary with each project depending on the size and type of the project.   The services begin early in the project and are maintained throughout the construction phase.  Input is provided in the design phase to enhance the constructability of the design and to sustain quality control of the construction documents.  Also included in the services are:

• reviewing shop drawings, submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs)
• attending construction meetings
• periodically visiting the job site to observe the work for quality and conformance with the engineering drawings, specifications, and approved materials
• working with the contractors to provide information concerning the design and implementation of the engineering drawings

DFW Consulting Group, Inc. has a specialized Construction Administrator to provide these services.  He has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry and has extensive experience in handling multiple construction projects.  Prior to the issuance of the construction documents, he is introduced to the architectural team and, if available at that time, the construction team.  He then becomes the primary contact and project manager for each project.

With the Construction Administrator working directly with the architectural team, the contractor, and the owner/agent of the project during construction, DFW Consulting Group, Inc. looks to maintain continual support not only through the design process, but throughout the construction of each project to maintain the goal of a successful project.
